EVESHAM STATION CAFÉ GETS GREEN LIGHT FROM MP

Evesham’s railway station café, B4UGO, was officially opened by the town’s MP Peter Luff on Friday.

Evesham’s railway station café, B4UGO, was officially opened by the town’s MP Peter Luff on Friday.

Peter took a celebratory bite from a freshly cooked burger as he declared the premises formally open for business.

The café has become a valued part of the town’s welcome to visitors and is much appreciated by commuters too. It is now run by its owner, Anna Lubin, offering breakfast and lunchtime refreshments to passengers and all those who come to the station.

Commenting, Peter said,

“I was delighted to be asked to open this wonderful little café. Stations must be living places and Anna’s café certainly helps bring Evesham station to life. I congratulate her on her enterprise and wish her every success.

“When the redoubling of the long section of line from Evesham almost all the way to Oxford is complete on August 22nd, I’m sure the improved reliability and regularity of the train service will bring even more customers through Anna’s welcoming door.

“And having sampled the quality of her coffee and burgers and the warmth of her welcome, I know they will be delighted with the experience!”
