MP CONGRATULATES SCHOOL ON ‘OUTSTANDING’ OFSTED REPORT

St Mary’s Catholic Primary School in Broadway, has been congratulated by local MP, Peter Luff, on achieving an outstanding rating in its latest Ofsted report at the turn of the year.

Peter visited the school last week (Friday) and met the Executive Head Teacher, Jacqui Le Maitre and Head of School, Sarah Munn. He was quizzed by pupils about his work in Parliament and was given a tour of the school.

After the visit, Peter commented,

“I always enjoy visiting the schools in my constituency and it was a great pleasure to visit St Mary’s last week.

“I was particularly impressed by the exciting and inspiring curriculum that has been developed at this school. Given my long standing interest in engineering skills, I was very pleased that a number of pupils told me they wanted to be engineers when they grew up.

“I want to pay tribute to Jacqui and all the staff at St Mary’s who have all worked so hard to ensure this rating for the school. Under this leadership I am confident the school will continue to go from strength to strength.”
